Engineering practice, not a handoff

From system boundaries before implementation to the operational work required after release.

  1. Make the operating model explicit

    I write design specifications before implementation so product paths, system boundaries, and delivery work can be reviewed before code makes them expensive to change.

  2. Treat reliability as product work

    I use idempotency, bounded retries, durable handoffs, and clear operational boundaries where payments, providers, and queued work meet.

  3. Build for diagnosis

    I work with observability across web, API, scheduled work, and queues while keeping personally identifiable information out of logs.
